Back!

We actually got back Wednesday evening. It was a pretty horrible flight. Going to Toronto was pretty good but coming back the plane was full, Brennan threw up 4 times, wouldn't sleep even though he was very tired and did a lot of crying. I have a new appreciation for people traveling with kids. It is not easy.

The trip itself was ok. We did a lot of driving and visiting. Being back their reaffirmed that I really like living in Alberta.

This weekend we have been busy picking out the interior/exterior for the new house. That has been time consuming to say the least. It looks as though since I won't get a pay stub till mid November that the consolidation won't happen until then. It is not a big deal but it would be nice for them to get started ASAP especially before they can't dig the foundation or pour concrete.

I am getting geared up to go back to work. I still need to get some new shoes and a new bag and of course a bus pass. We bought another car seat for DH's car so that he can pick Brennan up at the end of his day.

In some ways I just want to get back and get into the groove of things, in others I want the next two weeks to last as long as possible.

On another 2ww note. My friend whom I have mentioned here before had her FET done last Friday. They unfroze all 4 embies, 2 arrested and they put 2 back. Beta is tomorrow. I know that she has not been feeling very optimistic at all. I am very much hoping she gets good news tomorrow. If it is another failure they have decided to close the book on children. That kind of makes me sad. If people choose not to have children that is ok but when they really did want them and have to close the book due to other circumstances that is heartbreaking.
