Bored...

So I might as well post. I don't think I mentioned but my birthday was a few weeks ago. I asked hubby for an ipod touch. I already had an older nano but I thought this ipod touch would be a really neat gift. So far I am loving it. There are a couple things I am disappointed about but it still enjoy using it very much.

I listen to music on my way to work on the bus, while I am doing boring tasks at work like closing files (it keeps me awake!) I also use it at home to surf when dh is using the laptop. Yeah for wifi.

So tonight I decided to try downloading a tv episode to watch. I am not even sure if I will be able to watch it on my touch or if I will have to watch on the computer. Now we have what is called high-speed light. So in other words I started this download of a 44 min show oh probably 3 hours ago and still waiting. I am seriously thinking of upgrading our internet.

Normally light doesn't bother me. If I want to watch a video from u-tube or whatever I usually let it run once and then I play it again and it will run w/o out all the stopping to load/buffer whatever. But at my work I have access to the city's high speed and let me say it is nice to not have to wait!!

Maybe when we move I will upgrade!

SO we went by where the new house is to be built today. Guess what I saw. A hole dug and re bar set and ready for concrete to be poured.....only 1 problem the foundation is for the house next to ours. Hopefully ours will be dug/poured this week. But I am trying to find the good in things so I told DH that at least we wont have to live next to construction when we move in as both houses on either side will be done first!!

So I really want to go to bed....slept very poorly last night, think I am getting a cold....70mb to go...I wonder how long that is going to take?
