33!

Yikes! I celebrate my 33rd Birthday this past Monday. It's amazing how fast time goes by. I was thinking earlier today about stuff that happened when I was 13. It's hard to believe that was 20 years ago already. I honestly don't "feel" like I should be in my 30's but I guess my perception of 30's has changed in the last 20 years.

We mostly celebrated the big day on the weekend. On Saturday I used the money my inlaws sent to get a new jacket. One that is rated for -40 and doesn't feel voluminous on me. That evening i went for diner with my sister and her friend (also my acquaintance) we share the same birthday. We had diner at a casino and i lost $50 in those stupid machines. I don't know why I bother i am not lucky what so ever. Sunday Will B and i went to the IHOP for brunch which was nice. It was our very first trip to an IHOP. I know this restaurant is a American establishment but only recently came to my city. The food was good. That same day I did some Christmas shopping for B. I redeemed almost all of my airmiles for a bunch of tru gift cards. It was pretty cool to get all that stuff and not have to pay for it (well directly anyways). That evening my parents took us to diner (see a food theme here?!). The best present of all was BIL getting the heck out of my house. He finally moved himself and his crap into his new apartment Sunday.

My actual birthday was a workday and therefore almost like any other day. I did get a cute video of Brennan singing me happy birthday. He also wrapped up 5 toys he no longer plays with for me to unwrap. He was far more excited than me!
