IUI update
IUI was this morning. It was a really cruddy weather day but we made it safe and sound. First off dh's sample was great grade 4, 33 mil motile post wash. Honestly, the sample is something I always worry about and something I can't control! But those numbers are great. The nurse came in to do her thing and that is when the problems started. She put the regular speculum in but had a lot of trouble visualizing my cervix. It was very high up and facing downward. So she pulled that one and picked a smaller one that had longer blades, still a no go. Finally she picked the BIG one....now the BIG one is intended for woman who have had vaginally deliveries and are a bit more stretched out down there. I don't really qualify as my only vaginal delivery was a 14 oz bab. Any how she was making her attempt, telling me to relax, lift my leg it was uncomfortable and then she stopped, it obviously wasn't going to work. She went and got dr s. dr s came in she was so fabulous I love her...lol. She and I chatted and next thing you know it was all done! I am quite sore my ovaries have responded well to stims, probably not as sore as with ivf but uncomfortable none the less. So onto the tww I hope to just forget about it for the next couple of weeks and wait as long as I can to test, that won't be easy. I have to pick up my prometrium tomorrow so that the daily reminder.

Ugh. Sorry about the prodding. It's great that the sample was good, though. Good luck!
