New routines

School is in and B has started grade 1 at his new school.  I can't remember if I mentioned but we decided to switch B out of his private Christian school and into public school.  We had several reasons for this.  The private school worked very well for us because they offered 5 day full day kindergarten, very small class sizes, and of course religious education.  BUT this particular school is run by a church who has a pretty stupid pastor, who really managed to screw things up.  Until this place I had only heard of churches with a board that makes the decisions....this church the pastor has 100% of the decision making authority and he really messed up.  So needless to say that didn't give me much confidence at all.  B's friend from down the street will still be attending but they don't start till next week because of their situation.  Anyhow I can do without the tuition payments too.  Brennan likes his new school, it is a newish facility and there is only 19 kids in his class and there is always a teachers aid so that is not bad at all.

Miss C and I are working on a new routine now that B is back in school.  I will call it a work in progress lol.  She is not liking getting up early or going for an earlier nap.  We have been having some challenges with her over the top attachment to Daddy.  By over the top I mean constant whinning when daddy isn't paying 100% attention to her.  I am happy to say last evening went well so here is hoping for some progress.  I also have to start working on being able to leave her with another person.  I tried the one time to do child minding at the gym, and that didn't work out so well.  I am going to try and have our neighbour watch them both at home sometime soon.  I did warn the neighbour that it might be difficult.  But It needs to be done.

We have our last home study visit this weekend.  This is great, one more thing off the list!

I am back to ww again.  Oi.  I'm hungry.  Happy to say I didn't gain anything during my hiatus.  Still frustrated though....all I want to lose is like 10-15 lbs....it's so hard!

Loving the school fish!

Too bad about the stupid pastor! It sounds like things are going well at the new school, though, so yay for saving the tuition money!

Good luck with the last home visit! I'm sure it will be nice to have that over with.
