I've talked before about pictures and my lack of doing anything with them. I posted a year ago about finally uploading pictures from my camera, 3 years worth. That was the end of it though. A couple weekends ago I finally said enough is enough I have to do this. I seriously woke up in the night with anxiety that I would lose my pictures.
I started out by uploading some to print, then I figured out there are so many pictures. Between the camera, phones and tablets there are hundreds. I tried to weed out some and did print over 200. I then decided that was stupid and bought myself a portable hard drive. Everything is now safely (I hope) stored on the drive.
School has been going ok. B is adjusting a bit better now. Last week was his first week of spelling and he failed the test. I could tell he didn't even try. Getting him to practice is not easy but for this weeks test I got an iPad app and persevered. He got all his words from this week right. The teacher did add on two words from last weeks list which he did get wrong but I was so thrilled he did so well.
Last Saturday was the Walk to remember....after a few frustrating moments it went pretty well. I actually ran into the lady I worked with at my last firm, we share the same RE, she lost a baby boy August 2010 at term. Well she was there with her dh and twin baby boys. She had a very difficult road between the losses and extensive fertility treatments.
Without further ado some pictures from the walk:
