Well the day went reasonably well. I dropped B off at 6:50 tried not to cry and headed to Heritage caught the bus, didn't get a seat. I saw a few familiar faces thought to myself how some things never change. The same people all packed into a nasty bus on the way to their never-ending jobs. Oh the drudgery.
Work itself was ok. It won't take too long to get back into the groove I suppose. But no more FB or Hotmail. There was some sort of issue during the summer with some employee I never met. She was fired and now everything fun is firewalled.
New boss just said to stay away from unauthorized sites but one of my co-workers told me nada to everything non work related even during lunch.
Apparently one of my other co-workers is bringing her laptop in so she can surf (even during work). I don't think I will bring mine. I wouldn't want to carry it around or for it to break.
My temp will be hanging around till the end of the month. She is supposed to be doing the Christmas stuff...cards/gifts. She hasn't even started....OMG is all I can say. She'd better get a move on it. She is also planning the 20th anniversary party for the end of the month and she is supposed to try and make a dent in the closed files she is WAY behind in.
I completely remember the reasons why I didn't enjoy working there now...lol.
B did well with my parents....no issues. A couple poopies, a couple naps. I called at lunch to check in.
Time to have another baby!!
B had his shots this evening. 4 total one in each thigh and one in each arm :(. He cried of course but recovered very well. He was 26lbs 3oz and 30.5 inches long. He has his well baby at the end of the month and then his other flu shot in 4 weeks.
We are all tired now. I hope to sleep better tonight.
