Well not very good news to update today. I was just 4 days to Nuva.Ring removal and about 6 days to af and starting ivf when Af decided to show up this morning while still on hormonal birth control (what's with that?). I called the ivf nurse and left a message. She got back to me this morning and now of course ivf has been pushed back. I can't cycle now because my re is out of town and he is the only one at the clinic doing er's. No dr m no ivf. I guess what has happened is that the hormones in NuvaRing are not suppressant enought for me (fairly common as most BC is faily low doses of estrodial and progestins)...that is what the nurse said....but I think that since I was on cd 29 but only 26 days of nuva ring that my estrogen crashed (hence the migraine the other day) couldn't sustain my lining and thus has to shed. Blah blah blah So anyways the nurse told me to take the ring out let af come. A new ring will go in on cd 3 then on cd 21 I am supposed to go in for an ultrasound not really sure what for?! Make sure I am suppressed maybe? Then we'll go from there. Not sure if that means pulling the ring and having af then start stims or possibly starting additional suppressant. Not sure at all. Since my body is not co-operating some force might be necessary...lol Seriously I am disappointed. It's been such long wait already and I was so close to starting (just a week away!). Now it will be more like 3-4 weeks. I have to wonder maybe the cards keep falling wrong for a reason. What is fate, God, mother nature trying to tell me? Please just say it straight jeez.
