So I took quite the break. This is the way I work with crafty type stuff.
Anyways I found a site called Calvin's Hats and a new pattern for very small babies. So I decided to take a stab at double point needles. Lets just say it's almost scary working with 4 needles. I didn't do too badly. I had some issues with the top.
I then decided that I should really do a pink hat. So away I went. It didn't turn out so well. I guess my pink yarn was a bit "lighter" so the hat is pretty small and I also somehow ended up turning my knitting around ending up with the not so pretty side of the knit stitch on the top of the hat. Maybe I should stick to stockinette stitch? Or maybe that will be even more complicated?
I'll have to give the pink hat another go. I'll post a picture if I end up with a winner. I am too embarrassed to post the original!
