My ovary exploded!

Crap....I can't believe this has happened. We followed the exact same protocol as with B and G...where both times I had 1 mature follie.....on Thursday I had maybe 2 contenders....today well have hyper stimulated and my iui has been canceled.

Left side 19mm X 2 16mm x 2 Right side 16mm X 2 plus several at 15mm. The doctor said if I trigger the chances of releasing 5 or more is very high, it will also put be at a high chance of OHSS. Given my history there is NO WAY I can take the chance of triggering. First off....with the right conditions (an egg and sperm) I tend to get pregnant easily. Second I lost a singleton baby at 21 weeks with no concrete reason. No way I want to even entertain the idea of multiples.

Dr C. said we could DTD in the next couple days. I could surge on my own and potentially release the two larger follicles. Or I might not....and end up with several cysts. The nurse (who actually read my chart btw) didn't think it was a good idea to dtd at all and that it would be very risky.

Now we have to decided.

I am disappointed, still a little shocked....can't believe the response.

Now the timing kind of sucks. I have instructions to wait for AF then do a baseline....regardless if I can cycle in July or not they need to check for cysts. But the clinic has it's shut down at the end of July beginning of August.....looks like I might be delayed for iui until August after they reopen. Story of my life....wait wait wait.....delay delay delay....frustration, frustration, frustration
