IVF fertilization report
Well disappointing news from the embryologist this morning. Out of our 17 retrieved eggs only 8/9 were mature and only 4 fertilized overnight. Looks like we are aiming for a 3 day transfer on Tuesday.
How disappointing....am I about to live my worst fear about starting this whole process? :(
I betcha it was that darn menopur....too much lh=poor egg quality.

Oh Glo! That's really upsetting. Did they do rescue ICSI on the other 4? Try not to despair, obviously. Four embryos is plenty, but obviously this is a huge adjustment of expectations after such a great start.
Shit. I'm hoping the remaining embryos are sufficient for now. Sucks though, no doubt.
Sorry to hear that all those eggs didn't fertilize. Will be thinking of you and those 4 embryos this week.
Don't lose hope:) You got 4 embabies holding tight.
FX they keep growing.
