Day for Celebration!

This past Saturday our family had a day to officially welcome Justin and Meghan to the family. Justin and Meghan are the 2 younger children of my sister and brother-in-law. Their adoptions were finalized March 31. But my sister decided to have a special welcome party for them. It was at a kind of local working farm and petting zoo. We all had lots of fun, hay rides, cooking hot dogs over the fire, marshmallows, and of course getting to visit a whole variety of animals. It was actually much more fun then the zoo! It's hard to believe from the picture on the right but Meghan is 7 months older than Brennan. She is a tiny girl and my guy is a chunky monkey.
My sister and bil have 4 adopted children. I am not sure if they plan on adopting more but they do intend to keep their home open as a foster home and eventually would like to foster medically fragile children. It's always very busy at their house but they always wanted to share their lives with children.
In other news I woke up with a stiff back and neck again. This happen about a month ago too. At least this time I still have some left over pain killers and muscle relaxants. I think it is time to invest in one of those special neck pillows.
Update on my friend Kat. On Sunday they transferred 2 embies. 1 was 3AA which means perfect and already a blastocyste the other was 2AB which is nearly perfect and almost a blast. Now we all just get to wait. Wait to see if any embies make it to freeze and then her HCG blood pregnancy test in about 8 days. That is the only plus side of having to do ivf. The 2ww gets abbreviated. Keeping my FX.
