I belong to an online site that is desinged for people TTC. Through that site I have met a small group of girls (9 of us), all from the Edmonton area. All of us were/are ttc with issues. Tomorrow we are going to have a meet up. It's been quite a while since the last one, a few months before B was born. We are having a potluck bbq and I can't wait to see everyone.
I'd have to say our group has had amazing sucess. Even though there has been plenty of struggle, sadness, frustration and loss we have also had great joy in being able to add 5 babies and have 2 cooking. 2 babes through IVF, 1 though adoption, 1 though IUI + injectables, 1 through clomid and 2 au natural miracles.
I am hoping for 100%. One of our girls will be embarking on IVF next week and the other re-starting her journey with the RE next month.
It has been great to have this group of girls, it's really amazing how people you meet online can become so close. Well DH and I met online too so I guess I shouldn't be so amazed!
