Kambry's Light

I think I have mentioned before how interesting/strange it is to become invested in someone who you only really know online.

There is a woman (Kimber) who I originally met on FF and is now moderator of my MOGO November moms group. Almost two years ago she lost her precious daughter Kambry to a fatal illness. I do remember 2 years ago when Kambry was born and died. I watch with a quiet admiration as Kimber put her faith in the Lord during that very turbulent time. I am not saying it was easy for her as I am sure it wasn't, I am also sure there were times when her faith faltered and was tested. But she continues to have a strong relationship with the Lord.

Well we are coming up on Kambry's 2nd birthday. We as a group of mom's on MOGO have decided to do something special for Kimber and her family. We will be making a group donation to Kambry's Light http://kambrys-light.com/default.aspx. A NPO that Kimber and her husband created that is intended to help other parents with babies dx with fatal illnesses. We are also putting together a scrap book for them.

I am not really a scraping type of person and I am not sure that anything I sent to the US would make it on time so I am creating something with my limited computer abilities. Hopefully the organizer can print it off for me. I would love to share it here but I have yet to figure out how to do that either.

What we have once enjoyed and deeply loved
