Lilypie Angel and Memorial tickers

I suppose it's time for a new post :) I don't really have much to say so this could just be a rambling post. One thing of note is that it is HOT in Edmonton today...lol. I just checked the Weather Network, it is currently 20 C and predicted high for today is 30 C. You'd think being from ON and pretty close to TO I would be used to hot weather plus humidity. But there is one major difference. Air Conditioning. Practically everyone back home has AC. Not so many here. But I have to say I am a bit of a "princess." Last summer while I was pregnant my parents bought and installed a window air conditioner in our bedroom so that I could sleep. This year we bought one for Brennan's room. Now I don't worry about him being too hot rather I worry about him being too cold...lol. Well it occurred to me that having these things is a huge waste of energy (I also have two fans running in the main living space) but we have a 4th floor condo which is hot even though we are on the north side. There is no cross breeze. B and I need relief being stuck in here. So we will have to deal with the higher power bill.

What we really want to do is buy a house. We looked at one show home yesterday. We enjoy doing that. I don't want to buy brand new but I still like to look. Well this was a duplex. Very nice inside. $480, 000!!!! Holy smokes. If I had that much money to spend I would buy a detached home not another condo!!. The prices of homes in this city is supposed to be going down. We have visited other places that are trying their best to offload their spec homes. So the long term plan is to hopefully look at buying something bigger next autumn. So of course being the perpetually worry wart that I am I am worrying about that already. Selling the condo, working out a new mortgage, de-cluttering to sell, the actually move (I hate moving), where to move to and it goes on and on.

DH is working until 10:30 pm tonight. He offered to cover for someone else...blech...So Brennan and I may go to my parents place for diner. Walk over in the heat and hang out in their air conditioned place for a while.

My friend Kat has her bw tomorrow. Odd I know since it is a holiday. I don't imagine she'll get her results tomorrow. Even if the lab is open the RE probably isn't. Then we will know if her ivf worked. She did let us know that 4 embryo's made it to freeze and that is great news too.
If it were me I would be testing at home. Just in case because getting bad news over the phone while at work is be horrible. I bet she will test. She's a Scorpio too. We are not really patient people...lol.
