Good but not great.

So I met with my RE today for my first ultrasound.  He asked me how I was doing.  I said NERVOUS!  He said given all that I`ve been through it`s normal and will probably last for a while.  Um....probably till I deliver at full term!

As soon as he got the probe in I saw the sac and baby on the screen just for a second.  He went to scan my whole uterus and then my ovaries before coming back to the baby.  At that point I was so relieved to see a fetus up on the screen.  The RE zoomed in so I could see the HB!  Then he did his measurements this is where things were not so great (of course that is just my opinion and not his).  Baby measures 6 weeks 4 days (my ticker reads 7 weeks 4 days today).  The heartbeat was 126bpm which we got to hear and is totally acceptable for the measuring gestation.

I go back in 2 weeks to see if the baby has grown or not.  It would have been nice to just be measuring right on track.  I would be much more at ease!

Anyways I also see my OB in two weeks.  The fertility clinic will be arranging my NT at the perinatal clinic and I have my paperwork for the normal prenatal blood work.

My RE will email me the pics but did print one out for me today.  Introducing Baby.  Hang tight little one and grow grow grow!
