So I got tired of booties after 5 pair and decided to move on. For a change you know? So after a small hiatus I started a hat. The hats take a little bit longer it seems. The stitch in the first 16 rows really requires my concentration. I can't count how many times I sat there painstakingly trying to pick up my slipped stitches.
This is the lesson in knitting I need. What to do when you screw up.....besides starting over!

this is why i crochet, not knit. crochet is wicked easy to pull out to just where you made the mistake... with knitting i was never able to figure out how to not have to start over completely!
