I was booting up the old laptop this morning with Brennan beside me munching his apple. I have the same picture on my wallpaper as I do on this blog.
When it came up Brennan looked over at the picture and said "Baby Gone" I said "Yes he's gone." I then got a snuggle.
As much as B is a handful, and at times more than I really want to deal with right now....it seems that he does indeed have some understanding of what's happened and that mommy is sad.

It's amazing how much they truly understand even though they don't really... thank goodness for snuggles in times like these... hugz.
